Step into a world of imagination where princesses rule kingdoms, pirates sail the seas, mermaids explore enchanted oceans, and dinosaurs stomp through magical lands! In this playful and engaging theatre class designed especially for preschool and kindergarten students, children will explore the foundations of performing arts through storytelling, music, creative movement, and imaginative play.

Each week, young performers will build confidence, social skills, and creativity as they act out new adventures, sing songs, and express themselves through movement. Our nurturing environment encourages curiosity and participation while introducing basic stage skills in a fun, age-appropriate way.

Families are invited to celebrate their child’s progress at two special performance showcases—in January and May—where our young stars shine on stage!

Tuesdays or Thursdays, 3:30 – 5:00pm (1st-2nd grade)

In this exciting and imaginative theatre class, young actors will dive into creative worlds full of characters, stories, and big adventures! Through playful scene work, musical exploration, and expressive movement, students will develop their performance skills while working together as a team.

With a focus on collaboration and confidence-building, each class offers opportunities for students to strengthen their voices, bodies, and imaginations. Young performers will learn the basics of stage presence, storytelling, and character development—all in a fun, supportive environment that encourages creativity and expression.

Throughout the semester, students will rehearse scenes and musical numbers to prepare for two exciting showcase performances in January and May, where they will have the chance to shine on stage for friends and family.

Thursdays, 4:00-6:00pm (3rd-5th grade)

Perfect for beginning performers, this high-energy theatre class introduces students to the exciting world of the performing arts! Young actors will build a strong foundation in acting, vocal performance, and movement while developing confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills.

Through a dynamic mix of theatre games, improvisation, scene work, and musical theatre dance, students will explore different acting styles and storytelling techniques. They’ll learn essential stage skills—from character development and voice projection to spatial awareness and ensemble work—all in a fun, supportive, and imaginative environment.

This class is designed to help students grow as artists and individuals, whether they’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or continuing to develop their talents. With a balance of technique and play, students will rehearse throughout the semester for two performance showcases in January and May, giving them the opportunity to shine in front of family and friends.

(Prerequisite: Minimum of one full year of Young Actors classes or equivalent theatre experience.)

Designed for young performers who are ready to take their training to the next level, Performers Unlimited offers a deeper dive into the performing arts with a focus on advancing skills in acting, voice, and movement. This fast-paced, high-energy class is ideal for students with prior experience who are eager to grow as confident, capable performers.

Participants will refine their craft through a mix of theatre games, improvisation, character work, musical theatre dance, and ensemble-building activities. Emphasis is placed on strengthening stage presence, vocal technique, physical expression, and storytelling—all while fostering collaboration and creativity in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Students will also engage in more in-depth scene work and rehearsal processes as they prepare for two performance showcases in January and May. These showcases give young actors the chance to apply their skills in front of a live audience and celebrate their progress with family and friends.

Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30pm, Middle / High School

(Prerequisite: Minimum of one full year of Young Actors classes or equivalent theatre experience.)

Company Prep is a focused and fast-paced training program designed for middle and high school students who are serious about developing their performance skills and preparing for advanced opportunities in theatre, including potential entrance into our YAT Company.

Ideal for motivated young actors with prior experience, this class offers in-depth instruction in acting, vocal performance, and musical theatre movement. Students will sharpen their technique through scene study, monologue work, improvisation, ensemble-building, and choreography—while continuing to strengthen essential stage skills like character development, vocal control, physical presence, and storytelling.

Company Prep provides a supportive yet challenging environment where students are encouraged to take creative risks, work collaboratively, and begin to approach their craft with professionalism and intention.

Throughout the semester, students will rehearse for two performance showcases in January and May, offering valuable stage experience and the opportunity to perform for a live audience.
